Stefan Swanepoel
NDIP, CO(c)Stefan is a Certified Orthotist. Stefan joined the WinPO team as a Resident Orthotist in early 2023 and earned his Certification shortly after.
Stefan was born and raised in South Africa, where he graduated from the Tshwane University of Technology. He obtained his NDIP (National Diploma in Orthotics & Prosthetics) allowing him to work in various hospitals and clinics in South Africa. He then moved to Manitoba to further pursue his passion in the field of P&O and to become a Certified Orthotist in Canada.
While living in Manitoba, Stefan has also served with the Manitoba Sheriffs which has helped him to gain skills to help understand the power of communities and multi-diversity.
Prior to joining WinPO, Stefan spent no shortage of time in various rehab clinics, including working as a Resident Orthotist at Health Sciences Center in Winnipeg, which helped further develop his set of well-rounded clinical skills. Stefan’s passion for clinical care has solidified his desire to serve the public through determination to achieve functional goals and assist those in need to take a step into a better future for self-care and quality of life. Now as a Canadian Certified Orthotist, he welcomes all who need clinical assistance.
